Hello! I’m Talyah (aka YaYa), a 15-year-old entrepreneur with big dreams and a passion for making one-of-a-kind candles. My journey began during the pandemic when I was just 10 years old and in sixth grade. I got the nickname YaYa from my little brother, who couldn’t pronounce my name at the time! One of the first candles I ever made was bought by my grandmother, and that little spark turned into my dream to bring beautiful, hand-crafted candle art to everyone.

Aside from candles, I’m a high school freshman and a dedicated honor roll student. I’m also a gymnast, and I love playing video games in my free time—especially Splatoon! Creating things by hand has always been a big part of who I am, and I love putting that creativity into each candle I make, making sure each one is unique and special.

In the future, I dream of taking to the skies as a pilot or working in aviation. For now, though, I’m excited to keep creating, growing my business, and sharing my love for candle-making with you.
